Soup's On!

Bead soup that is. I'm so excited to participating in the largest ever Bead Soup Blog Party! This event hosted by Lori Anderson of Pretty Things, keeps getting bigger and bigger and this time has a whopping 210 participants! Lori (painstakingly) pairs up all the participants and we each send our partner a focal bead or pendant, a pretty clasp and some coordinating beads. Then we have to make a piece of jewelry with what we are sent! This is my first Bead Soup Party and I couldn't be happier to be paired up with fellow Canadian, Nicole Valentine. As luck would have it (mine anyway) she is a lampworker and all you need to do is scroll down my blog to see that I'm an absolute lampwork addict! I can't wait to see what she sends me. :-)

Now the big question is... What do I send her? Obviously not lampwork beads. I'm sure she has enough of those. ;-) Ceramic, gemstones, polymer clay? I can't decide.
